there is something wrong with us

yesterday i woke up after sleeping in, and realized i had no plans for the weekend. it felt like it's been a while, and indeed, i counted back 6 weeks until the last weekend i didn't have a trip or a marathon. i was looking forward to a relaxing and productive day of cleaning, laundry, and errand-running, but was then gripped by the all-powerful... grip, of deciding to get a train. despite the mbta's best efforts to thwart my plan, eventually phil and i ventured out to the heartland, and returned, not only with a train, but a car full of essential supplies such as cookies, lamps, and birthday cake.

today i made a movie:

i wasted the rest of the weekend reading about container-based shipping.
