this morning i had a dream where nat and i were either preparing for a party or cleaning up after one or something. he was like, "check out what i got under that table" and i looked and there was an 8-track player with the new red hot chili peppers album in it. the 8-track version was 2 tapes, and was titled differently (i believe it said "dominos" instead of "the dominoes" or something similar).
i said to him "you know who would sound good on 8-track? the strokes. they would sound really solid."
i bought my first 8-track tape in 1995. it was led zeppelin iv, and i got it for 27 cents at a salvation army store. that was the day jerry garcia died.
